Chanell White – Founder & CEO

Chanell White is the Founder and CEO of Aj’anaye’s Dream Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth impacted by gun violence and providing resources to grieving families. A resilient and purpose-driven leader, Chanell brings both personal experience and professional insight to her role.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chanell grew up deeply rooted in the strength and spirit of her community. After relocating to Georgia in 2015 to continue raising her children, she earned her master’s degree in business while balancing motherhood and her commitment to personal growth. Her journey as a mother took a heartbreaking turn in 2023 with the tragic loss of her daughter, Aj’anaye, to gun violence.

From that pain, Chanell found purpose. In September 2023, she launched Aj’anaye’s Dream Foundation as a living legacy to her daughter and a source of hope for others navigating similar loss. Under her leadership, the Foundation provides scholarships, justice and grief resources, and community empowerment initiatives aimed at healing and prevention.

Chanell’s unwavering dedication, compassionate leadership, and deep understanding of the challenges families face make her a powerful advocate and change-maker. Through the Foundation, she is determined to create safer communities, uplift voices silenced by violence, and inspire healing, justice, and opportunity for generations to come.
